Your physical well-being is well taken care of in the Lürzer Alm. After all, you have to stay strong, otherwise high-performance skiing won’t work. And if you want to go to après-ski later, you need a “good base”, as it is called in Austrian vernacular. Table reservation.

We cook everything ourselves in our production kitchen in the Lürzer Alm restaurant in Obertauern, with very few exceptions. And always fresh. That is why we are the ideal partner for any celebration, whether it’s a birthday, company party, Christmas party or New Year’s Eve party. In the Lürzer Alm, in the best location on the slopes and still in the middle of the town of Obertauern, you are greeted with rustic comfort. Our lively service provides you with skier’s delicacies in the restaurant and on the sun terrace from the end of November to the beginning of May every day between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. Afterwards we spoil you from 7 p.m. with an à la carte dinner in the Lürzer Alm restaurant, followed by a dinner Party – entertainment, fun and a good mood are guaranteed here!

Stubborn perfection without surprising interpretations is monotonous and boring. Enjoyment has rather different meanings to us: liveliness, inspiration, freedom. We love and live the cheerful game of long experience meeting spirited creativity. And yes, our eagerness to experiment involves taking a little risk sometimes. That is exactly what makes it so appealing.

We have always been a little different to most others, and that’s why we also tread our own culinary paths. This way, many recipes unique to our house have been created which ensure Lürzer Alm’s totally distinctive, inimitable experience of pleasure. Further we love diversity, think internationally, cherish the multifacetedness of taste. Yet we must admit that there’s one thing we’re not that open-minded about: When it comes to fresh ingredients, we almost exclusively rely on responsible regional purveyors — for over 40 years.
